Things We Love!

WE LOVE GOD'S WORD...

"The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether." Psalm 19:7-9

Only through the instructions found in the Bible can a person find the peace and harmony they seek in this life. Come study with us and find out what God's plan is for your salvation. John 8:31-32

WE LOVE GOD'S MERCY...

"Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings." Hebrews 2:8-10

There is no mercy without the blood of Christ. As Christians we cherish the fact that God loved us and sent His Son to die in our place. We remember and memorialize this sacrifice each Lord's day around Christ’s table.

WE LOVE TO HAVE VISITORS!...

We love receiving visitors! It is so encouraging when we have new faces visit for worship and Bible study with us. We are a warm and friendly church family and you'll never be made uncomfortable or singled-out in any way. Here's more about what to expect to find when you visit us so you can feel right at home.

GOD'S PLAN OF SALVATION

YOU MUST HEAR THE TRUE WORD OF GOD

"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (Romans 10:17)

YOU MUST BELIEVE THAT JESUS IS THE TRUE SON OF GOD

“Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.” (John 8:24)

YOU MUST REPENT OF YOUR SINS

“Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.  But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 10:32-33)

YOU MUST CONFESS YOUR FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST

You must, confess that Jesus is Lord. He is Lord whether you confess it or not, but it is unto your salvation that you must acknowledge His deity and His ownership (Romans 10:9-10).

YOU MUST BE BAPTIZED BY IMMERSION

Be baptized for the remission of sins “Then Peter said to them, ‘Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.’” (Acts 2:38)

YOU MUST LIVE A FAITHFUL LIFE UNTO DEATH

Live a faithful Christian life in the fellowship of God’s people "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” (1 Corinthians 15:58) “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” (1 John 1:7)
